The new WICKED MESSENGER album ' Dreamer|Redeemer ' is available now as CD including download!
'Dreamer|Redeemer' is a continuation and a further development of what has been achieved with 'Officium Nocturnum': an exploration of the realms where the within and the without coincide. The album consists of two movements and an interlude.
Also out now as limited cassette (including free download!) is 'Infinite Presence'.
Boomkat & Norman Records will stock the tape too once pre-orders have been shipped.
'Infinite Presence' will feature older WM material from the years 2006-2008, including three tracks from the 'Three-Eyed Fox Lurking In The Serpent's Throat' demo, the 'Ascension' track from the 'Phoenix' EP and 'Goatride' from the 'Faces Trilogy Pt. II' Split EP, plus two unreleased tracks. All tracks have not only been remixed and remastered but also reworked. 'Infinite Presence' was finalised in 2009 and was scheduled for release in 2010 but had to be postponed due to the release of 'Officium Nocturnum'.
Artwork by J Dread.
Plague Recordings will release 'Infinite Presence' on cassette in 2012.
'Love, With The Tiniest Red Torch, Branded To Your Heart' is out now on CD and as digital album. It features remixes/re-interpretations of the Phallus Dei song 'Will You Come Now' by Wicked Messenger, Phallus Dei, Bohren & Der Club Of Gore and others. Vocals originally performed by John Walker. Order it and pre-listen to it at phallusdei.bandcamp.
Cthulhic Dawn Productions, the Finnish DIY label and distro run by J Dread, now also carries WM's latest work 'Officium Nocturnum'. Besides that all titles released by CDP are hereby highly recommended, especially J Dread's own works as Terrorgoat / Kaniba / Kanibal Hymn, Saaamaaa and Noise Jesus. Raw and archaic music, mind-altering and transcendental.
Performed at the Plague Recordings showcase organised by )toon) festival, October 11th 2009, Haarlem, Netherlands. This exclusive one hour set was accompanied by a video project by The Nothing (Canada), featuring Matthew McLaughlin (UK).
Released as free download (Plague 015 D/L) in December 2009. Now also available from bandcamp.
Long deleted as physical release, WM's second album 'Black Tourmaline' is now available as download (FLAC, MP3 and other formats). Recorded in only one week, the week of Easter 2007, 'Black Tourmaline' is the result of sound researches and experiments with the electric guitar. Only few non-guitar sounds (electronics & voices) were added.
Boomkat now carries 'Officium Nocturnum', 'The River Disappeared Sidewards' and 'Vision Rites And Techniques Of Ecstasy'. All three albums are also available as downloads in both, MP3 and FLAC format. Other (deleted) Plague releases are available at Boomkat as download too.
